The fact that you can’t raise taxes on billionaires even slightly without them pouring money into fascist political movements is, of itself, evidence that billionaires as a class shouldn’t be allowed to exist in the first place.
Just gonna remind everyone that 1.8 million dollars is all you need to never work another day in your life.
If thats not enough, 10 million dollars in a savings account will earn money at the same rate as a middle class American without you lifting a finger.
Rich people are often applauded for their business sense, and for being smart with their money, when the reality is these people have the luxury to never even need either of those things in the first place.
It is expensive to be poor. The best business sense a person can have is the ability to survive poverty. Billionaires are an obscenity. Greed is not good. Your economics teacher was wrong.
