I’m laying in bed eating strawberries with whipped cream and dark chocolate and thinking about how nice it is to finally be loved and respected by those whom I actually love and respect. This is all younger me really wanted: to just feel content. I hope everyone who had a childhood of danger and stress finds moments of warmth and contentment in adulthood.
