One often overlooked element of anti-capitalist architecture is that the urban environments become much more accessible to autistic and other sensory-sensitive individuals.
An elimination of advertising alone would reduce a huge number of oppressive lights, sounds, and other sensory experiences which are specifically designed to distract and overwhelm.
Additionally reductions to ambient noise, such as what would be achieved through a reduced reliance upon cars – or more greenery for sound dampening – would allow for autistic people to better focus upon their daily errands.
